Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the quantity of a cooling wind for cooling the engine of the automobile finely by controlling the number of revolution of a fan through the change of an ambient temperature and the change of the speed of revolution of a driving main shaft at the input side. CONSTITUTION:When an ambient temperature changes, the degree of curve of a band plate-shaped bimetal 9 alters, a tubular valve member 8 functions through a connecting rod 10 with the change and a fluid inflow hole 5' is opened and closed. When the speed of revolution of a revolution driving disc 11 exceeds fixed speed, a centrifugal valve V is slid in the radial outside direction along a bottom wall surface against the force of a spring 13 by the centrifugal force, and an outflow hole 11' is closed. When the speed of revolution drops, the hole is opened. Accordingly, the flow rate of a fluid lowers without regard to the ambient temperature and the number of revolution of the fan F drops during revolution at high speed, and the flow rate of the fluid is controlled in response to the ambient temperature and the number of revolution of the fan F is controlled during revolution at low speed. Thus, the quantity of the cooling wind can finely be controlled.
