Abstract

PURPOSE:To smooth the ink supply and to prevent ink the seatter of thereby improving printing quality by installing an ink reservoir in the rear of an end guide and by making the end of a wire semisoherical-shaped or chamfered- shaped. CONSTITUTION:A printing head 1 is furnished with an end guide 3 and an intermediate guide 4, and between the two an ink reservoir 5 is formed. Dot openings 7 and 8 are cut in the guides 3 and 4 in order to make possible and maintain the sliding of a wire 6. The end guide 3 is furnished with an ink wiping member 9 which wipes out the excess ink deposites coming out of the gap between the dot opening 7 and the wire 6 and being deposited on the end of the wire 6. The square part of the end of the wire 6 is formed spherical shaped or chamfered along its circumference, making easy the deposit of ink form the ink reservoir 5 and letting excess ink out when dotted. In order to let out ink form the gap between the dot opening 8 and the wire 6 of the intermediate guide 4, a discharge groove 15 is also provided.
