Abstract

PURPOSE:The titled compsn. consisting of polypropylene, modified polyolefin and glass fiber and having a specified melt index, high fluidity and excellent dimentional stability. CONSTITUTION:The titled compsn. consists of 50-99pts.wt. polypropylene having a melt index of at least 15g/10min, 0.01-10pts.wt. polyolefin modified with an unsatd. acid and 3-50pts.wt. glass fiber and has a melt index satisfying the relationship (wherein MI is melt index (g/10min); alpha is glass fiber content; alpha is a real number of at least 15). The glass fiber is at least about 0.5mm. long and should perf. be treatd with aminosilane or ''Garan'' . When necessary, colorant, stabilizer, plasticizer, lubricating agent, foaming agent, etc. may be added to the compsn.
