Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate change with time and improve accuracy in an integration type calorimeter by detecting temperature by means of a quartz oscillator and at the same time making the circuit constitution digital. CONSTITUTION:Everytime a set amount of heated medium flows through a piping 2, flow rate detector 3 outputs one pulse TP. Quartz oscillators 4 and 5 that use LC-cut shape or YS-cut shape quartz detect temperatures of heating medium at respective positions of a pipeing 2. Furthermore a quartz oscillator 6 becomes standard. Multipliers 12 and 13 output pulse that is in proportion to temperatures at upstream and downstream of a heat load 1 from the outputs of oscillators 4, 5, and 6 and their differences are sought by a subtractor 14 that consists of an up-down counter. Because this output pulse PN outputs the number of pulses that are proportional to the temperature difference everytime pulse TP is outputted from a flow rate detector 3, integration heat quantity can be determining by dividing 15 and counting 16 of this pulse PN.
