Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive reduction of the number of compacting units of a fast rotary machine in such a way that the function to provide boost of pressure in the main flow and to additionally boost the pressure. CONSTITUTION:The flow to be passed through a pump is worked by means of a main blade 22 and boosted the pressure, and most part of it comes through a diffuser 25 into an eddy chamber 24 where boost of pressure is completed. On another hand, part of the flow which has been passed through the main blade 22 is sucked into an auxiliary blade 26, additionally boosted the pressure, it is passed through a diffuser 27 into an auxiliary eddy chamber 28 where the additional boost of pressure is completed. In consequence, the main flowIin the eddy chamber 24 in which it is boosted to relatively low pressure, and the branched flow II in the eddy chamber 28 in which it is boosted to higher pressure can be singly by means of the pump, so that reduction of the number of compacting units of a fast rotary machine can be contrived.
