Abstract

PURPOSE: To bring out the same cleaning effect as a conventional purifying line, and also to attain its energy saving, by using rolling oil of low concentration for the final finish rolling stand of cold rolling, and also jetting the rolling ol of high pressure and low concentration onto both surfaces of a steel tape by a specific flow rate at the entry or the delivery of the final stand.
CONSTITUTION: At the final stand 5 of a quadruple and 5 stage continuous cold rolling mill, rolling oil emulsion of 0.5W2.0% low concentration is fed to a rolling through a pump 7 and a nozzle 8 from a tank 6. Also, at the entry or the delivery of the final stand 5 through a pump 9 and a nozzle 10 from the tank 6, rolling oil emulsion of 0.5W2.0% the same concentration is jetted onto both surfaces of a steel tape by 50W200kg/cm2 pressure, and a flow rate of 20W150l/min per 100mm of one surface of the steel tape.
