Abstract
PURPOSE:To feed the paper one by one stably and reliably by providing a paper handler so as to blow the heated air at the uppermost sheet of the stacked paper on a friction type paper-feed unit of a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:The warm air or hot air is blown at the uppermost sheet of the copying paper 12 by means of an air pump 22, a heater 24, and a nozzle 30 prior to an action of a paper-feed roller 14. Thereby, the uppermost copying paper 12a is contracted, generating a small gap between it and the secon copying paper 12b. Accordingly, the adhesion between the copying paper 12a, 12b is reduced, and both paper 12a, 12b are separated. Thus, the stacked paper can be separated for sure, and the paper can be stably fed one by one.
