Abstract
PURPOSE: To stably execute a dust removing operation, by separating and removing a conductive liquid mixed into a liquid before it is put into a purifying tank, in an electrostatic liquid purifying device for removing the dust contained in the liquid.
CONSTITUTION: When adsorbing and removing dust by making a liquid containing dust pass through a purifying tank provided with an electrode plate of high voltage and an insulating dust collecting plate, if a conductive liquid is mized in the liquid, each electrode in the purifying tank is short-circuited and becomes unusable. In order to remove this defect and also stably remove dust in the liquid at all times, the liquid is jetted into a cylindrical and metallic counter electrode 20 connected to the negative potential from a nozzle 18 applied to the positive potential. The conductive liquid in the liquid is charged to positive by the positive potential of the nozzle 18, is adsorbed and removed by the counter electrode 20 charged to negative, and after that, goes into the purifying tank, therefore, the electrodes in the tank are not short-circuited, and contained dust can be removed stably.
