Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the pressure and composition of gas to be sent and supplied to another use form fluctuations, by bypassing waste gas from a low-temperature air separating device, together with separating waste gas of the adsorbing tower and pressure released air, at the time of changeover of adsorbing towers.
CONSTITUTION: A change valve 13 is released to bypass waste gas from low- temperature air separating device 3 to pipes 22 and 24 and to send the gas to another use by means of a pipe 25, at the time of an adsorption-regeneration changeover of pressure-swing type adsorbing towers 1 and 2 of the device 3. Next, air in the tower 1 under pressurized state is discharged, as a pressure released air, through a changeover valve 15, inducing pipes 12 and 30, and a changeover valve 29, at the time of pressure releasing of the tower 1. At this time, the pressure released air is prevented from mixing into the waste gas which is being sent to the other use and causing pressure fluctuation, by closing a changeover valve 27. The waste gas of the device 3 is flowed into the tower 1 through a pipe 9 and a check valve 20 after completing the pressure releasing of the tower 1.
