Abstract
PURPOSE:To divide the picture information of a line into 2 lines and synthesize the picture infrormation of 2 lines to that of one line by arraying rectangular mirrors so as to bring one of reflecting surfaces in the object and image sides close to the side of a microlens. CONSTITUTION:Rectangular mirrors 17, 18 are constituted so that one set of respective reflecting surfaces 17a, 18a in the side of an object surface 19 and reflecting surfaces 17b, 18b in the side of images 20, 17b and 18b, for example, are brought close to the side of microlens arryas 13, 14. The rectangular mirrors 17, 18 are formed by connecting the upper triangle and the lower inversed trapezoid. The position of the object for both optical units 11, 12 is of the same through the existence of the rectangular mirrors 17, 18 but positions of images are divided into two different positions. By arraying solid scanning elements 22, 23 on the image forming positions of the image surfaces 20, the picture information of 1 line on the object surface 19 can be divided into two lines on the image surfaces to be read out.
