Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of information processing by preventing malfunction by interrupting retrying if it is judged that the contents of a pre- fetch instruction buffer are rewritten at the time of the retrying due to an error caused by an information processor. CONSTITUTION:When the instruction of a processor is to be written in a storage device MEM and also in an address for its own instruction, it is different from the last instruction, and in this case, comparing circuits CMP1 and CMP2 perform comparison for every time to turn on an FF1 and FF2 upon occasion. Therefore, when retrying is performed because an error is detected during processing operation, the on-off states of the FF1 and FF2 are detected in the beginning of operation by a retrying program. If either FF turns on, processing starts at the resetting of a main storage device MS without performing retrying processing.
