Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent interference between a resonance and a driving current, and to output a stable voltage by imposing pulse width modulation upon a driving signal corresponding to the output current or voltage of an output transformer circuit while driving a transformer by shaping the waveform of a signal with a self-resonance frequency from the transformer. CONSTITUTION:A start signal from a starting circuit 1 is applied to a driving circuit 3, whose output drives a switching element 4 to switch a current flowing through the primary winding of a transformer 8. A pulse width modulating circuit 2 imposes pulse width modulation upon the driving circuit of the circuit 3, and the resulting signal is supplied to the circuit 3. The resonance response of the transformer 8 is detected by a coil 5 for detecting a self-resonance frequency and this detected voltage is converted by a waveform shaping circuit 6 into a pulse signal, which is applied to the circuit 2. Further, an output transformer circuit 9 detects an output voltage and a difference between the detected output voltage and a reference voltage is detected by an error amplifying circuit 7 and then applied as a pulse width modulated signal to the circuit 2. Thus, interference between a resonance and a driving current is eliminated to output a stable voltage.
