Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate continuous errornous detection and to improve the accuracy of controlling by eliminating the omission in the detection of knocking at a relatively low criterion and raising the criterion during a predetermined time when the knocking is once decided. CONSTITUTION:A time limiting circuit 17 and an adder 16 are added between a noise detecting part 5 and a decision part 6. For the beginning, the device is operated at a relatively low criterion, and when knocking is decided in the part 6, the output thereof is inputted to the circuit 17 constituted of charging and discharging circuits, and the signal of a preddtermined value is outputted and are inputted to the adder 16 during the short time which is the generation interval of a trace knock or light knock. In the circuit 16, the above-mentioned signal is added to the BGL signal of a noise detecting part 5 and is outputted to the part 6. Therefore, the level of the criterion increases only during the predetermined time, the erroneous detection by which the knocking is decided continuously is eliminated, and over-controlling is prevented, whereby accuracy is improved.
