Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition exhibiting various effects such as growth acceleration, feed efficiency improvement, prevention and remedy of diseases, etc., by using a polyether-type antibiotic substance and a nonionic surface active agent as essential components.
CONSTITUTION: An oral administration composition composed of (A) 1pt.wt. of a polyether-type antibiotic substance (e.g. monensin) and (B) 1W1000pts. of a nonionic surface active agent (e.g. glycerin fatty acid ester) is added to a feed for cattle and poultry (e.g. wheat bran) which may contain a diluent (e.g. soybean cake). The feed is administered to cattle or poultry such as cow, pig, chicken, etc., at a rate of ≥0.025mg/kg.
