Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce voltages of all lines between U and V, between V and W, and between W and U of 3-phase alternating currents directly to a desired low value by providing a neutral point diode having reverse breakdown voltage characteristic lower than the prescried voltage. CONSTITUTION:Bridge rectifying circuits 4, 4' having diodes are connected to an armature coil 1 having neutral points N connected in 3 phase. The outputs of the rectifying circuits 4, 4' are respectively supplied to an electric load for a vehicle through power supply lines 20, 21. A pair of neutral point diodes 5, 5' are respectively connected between the neutral point N of the armature coil 1 and the lines 20, 21. The diodes 5, 5' have reverse breakdown characteristic at 150V of breakdown voltage, and the voltage between the lines 20 and 21 is suppressed to a voltage lower than an allowable voltage which is lower than the voltage for breaking the electric load for a vehicle.
