Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain small-sized and lightweight moving part for excellent high frequency follow-up characteristic, by the constitution that a moving coil is wound around an optical system, a plurality of magnetic field generating means for generating a magnetic field crossing this coil is provided and the magnetic flux density is changed. CONSTITUTION:A moving coil 12 is wound around a barrel 6, and 4 sets of magnetic field generating means 13, 13' for generating a magnetic field crossing the coil 12 are located at an angle of 90 deg.. When a in-phase current based on a focus error signal is flowed to driving coils 15 and 15' by being superimposed on a DC current, a force exerted on the coil 12 is changed, an optical system moves toward the light axis direction for focus servo. Next, when a current of opposite phase based on a tracking error signal flows to the coils 15 and 15' by being superimposed on the DC current, the optical system is tilted for tracking servo. Since the coil is wound around the lens barrel 6, the moving part is made small in size and light in weight, allowing excellent high-frequency follow-up characteristic.
