Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the signal status at a check point without directly contacting the measuring terminal of a measuring device, by capturing the flashing of a light emitting element for monitoring the check point as a light signal, and converting the light signal to the electric signal. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber 3 is attached to an adapter 4. One end of the fiber faces a light emitting diode 2 of an electronic equipment 1 to be measured or is connected to it. The light from the light emitting diode 2 is introduced into said optical fiber 3. The other end of the optical fiber 3 faces a light receiving element 5 in the adapter 4. The output of the light receiving element 5 is inputted to a variable gain amplifier 8 and amplifier 7 through an amplifier 6. The output of the amplifier 7 is inputted to a comparator 14 through a peak holding circuit 11 and compared with the reference voltage from a reference DC voltage source 12. The gain of the variable gain amplifier 8 is varied by the output of the comparator. The output of the amplifier is processed by a peak holding circuit 10 and comparator 13.
