Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain comfortable air conditioning in a reasonable manner, by employing such an arrangement that a temperature controlling level is selected by a main controller on the basis of data relating to the temperature and humidity in each room to be airconditioned and the cooling load is controlled by each terminal controller on the basis of the temperature controlling level selected by the main controller. CONSTITUTION:Contents of a table shown in the drawing are pre-stored in a main controller 1, and data relating to the temperature and humidity, obtained by temperature sensors 5A-5C and humidity sensors 6A-6C associated respectively with cooling loads 4A-4C, are put into the main controller 1, which selects either one of two discomfort index levels, (1) discomfort index 75 or (2) discomfort index 72. Here, providing that the setting temperature of the cooling loads 4A-4C is 28 deg.C, the cooling loads 4A-4C are controlled by respective terminal control units 2A-2C in the manner that, in case of the discomfort index level (1), the temperature controlling level is lowered to 25 deg.C when the humidity is raised to 80%, while in case of the discomfort index level (2), the temperature controlling level is lowered to 23 deg.C when the humidity is raised also to 80%.
