Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operability by coupling a manual and automatic changeover switch with a focusing ring. CONSTITUTION:In automatic mode, a focusin ring 13 is rotated to set an index line 16 at a infinity position 14. When the focusing ring 13 is further rotated, a click ball 20 pressed into a limitation groove 21 for focusing ring movement in manual mode by a click ball pressing spring 18 inserted into a click ball guide hole 19 comes into contact with one end of said limitation groove 21 to have registance. When the focusing ring 13 is furthermore rotated against the resistance, the clip ball 20 enters a stopping groove for the focusing ring movement in automatic mode and the index line 16 stops at an over infinity position 15. At this time, a small-sized switch 12 is turned on and automatic focusing operation starts. When the focusing ring 13 is rotated to move the index line 16 from the over infinity position 15 to the infinity position 14, the small-sized switch 12 is turned off and manual focusing operation is enabled.
