Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify adjustment through which a recording head and a drive roller are brought into contact with each other at a most suitable condition, by constituting a device such that a carrier of a heat-sensitive recording head is rotatably and movably supported, and is regulated in a movable direction by means of a screw. CONSTITUTION:An upper plate 4, two partition side plates 5, and a partition middle plate 6 of a heat-sensitive recorder are designed to spin centering around a shaft 7 and open by releasing engagement of a shaft 10 with a hook member 8. Meanwhile, a heat-sensitive recording head 14 is secured to a carrying plate 17 through a spacer 16, and a U-notch part 17b is pivotably joined to a shaft 9 fastened to the partition side plates 5. A distance from the shaft 9 can be adjusted through turn of a screw 21, and the recording head 14 and a drive roller 30 can be brought into rectilinear contact with each other through adjustment which is performed at the both sides, which results in equalizing the contact pressure through a spring pressure of a tension spring 22.
