Abstract

PURPOSE: To detach and suck the adhered and collected substance of a collecting material by vibration due to pulsation by a method wherein a hollow gas introducing chamber having plural gas introducing pores provided to the peripheral wall thereof by drilling is provided to a collecting chamber and a gas is sucked intermittently to form pulsation in the gas stream.
CONSTITUTION: Purification of an exhaust gas is carried out expansion phenomenon by a throttle plate 7 and filtering action of the collecting material 10 in a collecting chamber 10 but, when a large amount of a collected substance is accumulated in the collecting chamber 9 and the filtering function of a purifying cylinder 1 is lowered, a pressure sensor 26 senses the rise of back pressure to open a valve 18 and a pulsating valve 22 and a vacuum pump 24 are operated. Because a hollow introducing chamber 12 having introducing pores 13 provided to the peripheral wall thereof which is inserted in the collecting chamber 9 is connected to the pulsating valve, the gas stream sucked from introducing pores 13 by the pump is pulsated by the pulsating pump 22 to generate vibration and, by this vibration, the adhered and collected substance of the collecting material 10 is detached to be sucked into a filter 21 along with the gas stream.
