Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an optical carriage or the like, facilitate its assembly, reduce the friction on its sliding parts and facilitate its adjustment, by providing a magnet pad as a part of the body of the optical carriage or the like, which slides on an iron rail. CONSTITUTION:Magnet pads B are provided on both the ends of the carriage body 1 of a moving unit A so that attractive force is caused between each pad and a rail 6. For that reason, the magnets B are attracted on the rails 6 when the moving unit A moves on the rails. Therefore, the moving unit A is kept from floating up. Since the sliding surfaces of the unit A are in contact with only the tops of the rails 6, the friction is reduced. Since conventional leaf springs or the like are not needed, the constitution is simplified and the assembly and adjustment are facilitated.
