Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase an automatic sweep speed, to eliminate the malfunction of automatic sweeping, and to reduce the cost of constitution by increasing the sweep speed of a reception frequency by an automatic sweeping mechanism when a received signal level is low, and decreasing it when high. CONSTITUTION:A signal intensity detecting circuit 11 detects the signal intensity of a limiter amplifying circuit 6 and then sends it to a discriminating circuit 10. When it is judged that an input has not enough signal intensity, the output of a low-frequency amplifying circuit 8 is muted to prevent it from appearing at an output terminal 9. On the other hand, the outputs of the detecting circuit 11 and discriminating circuit 10 are inputted to an automatic sweeping circuit 14. When the signal level does not reach a certain level yet, the sweep speed of the tuning frequency of an FM receiver by an automatic sweeping circuit 14 is increased and when so, the speed is decreased.
