Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the magnetic saturation and realize the miniaturization of a power supply transformer in case the supply of the primary current is started for a power supply device that can control the conduction phase angle. CONSTITUTION:A primary winding 1a, a secondary winding 1b and a control winding 1c are provided to a power supply transformer 1. The winding 1a is connected to an AC input power source 3 via a TRIAC 2, and the TRIAC 2 is controlled by a conduction phase angle controlling circuit 5. The voltage induced at the winding 1b is delivered via rectifying/smoothing circuit 4 and in the form of the positive/negative DC voltage. A light emitting diode 10 emits the light in a positive half cycle of the source 3, and a phototransistor TR10 is turned on. Thus a monostable multivibrators 11 and 13 are triggered. Then the diode 10 stops the light emission in the negative half cycle to trigger monostable multivibrators 15 and 17. The outputs of the vibrations 13 and 17 are supplied to a control current supplying circuit 8, and an adverse bias is given by the current supplied to the winding 1c to suppress the magnetic saturation.
