Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid an increase of the necessary control time to the changing degree of the ground position at the moment of detection and to ensure a good control in a short time, by securing a simultaneous or almost simultaneous end for both the ground right-left and back-forth controls based on the results of detection of both the ground right-left and back-forth positions. CONSTITUTION:An automatic constant maintenance is secured for both the ground right-left and back-forth positions of a ground working device 5 connected to the main body 1 of a position controller by the rolling and pitching control mechanisms A and B respectively. Then the posotion of the device 5 of multistrand connection is detected. Based on the result of detection, an extension and contraction is given through a hydraulic cylinder 8 to a lifting rod 7 or 7' that connects a pair of right- left lower arms 2 and 2' to lift arms 6 and 6' to ensure an automatic constant maintenance for the ground right-left position of the device 5. At the same time, the ground back-forth position of te device 5 is detected. Based on the result of detection, a trip link 3 is extended and contracted via a hydraulic cylinder 9 to ensure an automatic constant maintenace for the ground back-forth position of the device 5 by the mechanism B.
