Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare powdery food containing effective component of cortinellus shiitake, etc., and roughage, and rich in sweet component, by using a material containing large amount of raw sugar of sugar cane, etc. and vegetable fiber as a cultivation medium.
CONSTITUTION: A material containing large amount of raw sugar of sugar cane, beet, etc. and vegetable fiber, is finely pulverized and dried to a water-content of about 50W70%, and used as a cultivation medium. Seed of cortinellus shiitake, Pholiota nameko, Pleurotus ostreatus, etc. (edible mushrooms) is inoculated in the mdium to culture the mycelia. The cultivation medium is crushed just before or after the generation of fruit body, heated in water to effect the autodigestion of the mycelia and transfer the effective component in the mycelia to the cultivation medium. The medium is dried by further heating, and finely pulverized by a crusher.
