Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase tightness within a rotor core, by the forming of slot ends with a curve which has points of inflection or straight lines, or a combination of both at a rotor core composed of laminated steel. CONSTITUTION:A rotor core composed of laminated steel has a slot 3a and a bridge 1b. The slot 3a end is shaped with a curve which has points of inflection 5, 6 or straight lines, or a combination of both. A comparatively great force of compression is produced in the neighborhood of point of inflection 5, 6 while the slot 3a is pressed for blanking. Hence, a combination of attraction with a punch reduces a slack of the bridge 1b in blanking direction.
