Abstract
PURPOSE: To sinter sintered ore of high quality with good combustion efficiency in the stage of sitering fine iron ore by adding water to th compounded raw materials removed of coke, kneading these, adding and mixing a prescribed amt. of coke according to the air permeability of the kneaded and compounded raw materials to and with said materials, and supplying the materials to a sintering machine.
CONSTITUTION: From plural raw materials tanks 1, powdered raw materials such as iron ore, returnd fines from sintering, limestone, etc. are dropped onto a conveyor 2, and ae mixed with water 7 in a primary mixer 3, after which they are charged into a compounded raw material hopper 4. The amt. of the water to be added to the mixer 3 with a moisture meter 9 in the hopper 4 is regulated with a water flow rate controller 8. The air permeability of the compounded raw materials is measured with an air permeability meter 10, and the value thereof is inputed to an operator 11 for addition amt. of powdery coke. While the compounded raw materials are conveyed with a conveyor 5, the amt. of the coke to be added is operated from the air permeability of the compounded raw materials set in a setter 12, the relative set value of the amt. of addition of the powdery coke, and the inputted air permeability value of the compounded raw materials, and the outlet of a powdery coke hopper 6 is adjusted by a controller 13 for dispensing of powdery coke, whereby an optimum amt. of the coke is added and the materials are fed to a secondary mixer.
