Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve press formability and enamel calcining property by making the coiling temp. after hot rolling higher than that in the prior art in the production of a low carbon cold-rolled steel plate for enamel wherein contents of Al, N are suppressed and a specific amt. of B is contained. CONSTITUTION:In the production of a cold-rolled steel plate for enamel, a low carbon killed steel ingot contg. 0.01-0.05% C, <0.02% Si, <0.50% Mn, <0.10% P, <0.02% S, 0.001-0.020% Al, <0.0040% N, and contg. B in such a way that the value of [%B]-11/14X(%N) attains -0.0005-+0.0005% is produced by continuous casting. This is hot-rolled to a plate material and is coiled at >=650 deg.C, after which it is cold-rolled and annealed, whereby an intended steel plate is obtained. The deposition of AlN that degrades press formability is suppressed by decreasing the content of A, N and the press formability is improved by substituting this with BN, whereby the cold-rolled steel plate for enamel of improved enamel calcining property, particularly of improved resistance for generation of fishscale is obtained.
