Abstract

CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. organic Si compound (hydrolyzate) of the formula, wherein R1 is a 4W14C organic group containing an epoxy group, R2 is a 1W4 C hydrocarbon group, a halohydrocarbon group or an aryl, R3 is a 1W4C alkyl, an alkoxyalkyl or an acyloxy, a and b are each 0 or 1 and a+b is 1 or 2, is mixed with 0.01W5pts.wt. colloidally dispersed antimony pentaoxide, average particle diameter 1W200μm. This composition is coated on a synthetic resin molding, inorganic glass, wood, etc., and cured by heating to 50W250°C.
