Abstract
PURPOSE: To collect industrial waste heat effectively and smoothly by partitioning the heat exchanger in the vertical directin into a plurality of condensing chambers and a plurality of evaporation chambers and arranging condensing part and evaporation part each comprising congregated heat pipes within each chamber in the vertical direction with an inclination.
CONSTITUTION: A number of heat pipe congregations S are arranged in the vertical direction with its corrugated plate 4 directed upwardly. In this instance, the heat pipe congregation S is tilted so as to place the evaporation part 1 side at a lower level and the tilting direction is alternate in the vertical direction. Thus, within the condensing chambers 9 and evaporation chambers 16 defined by partitions 6 inside the heat exchanger are arranged the condensing part 2 and evaporation part 1 of each heat pipe congregation S correspondingly. With this construction, when waste liquid or the like is introduced into the evaporation chamber 16, the waste liquid flows along the wavelike configuration and drops from a dropping port 8 on the heat pipe congregation S at a lower state. Thus, a heated fluid within the condensing chamber 9 can be heated about the temperature of the waste liquid with a high heat exchanging efficiency.
