Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the bearing of the turbine from seizing due to a mistaken operation upon heating the turbine by a method wherein heating gas is supplied from the downstream side of a bearing gas inlet valve. CONSTITUTION:The bearing gas is supplied to the bearing of the turbine 2 through the bearing gas inlet valve 1. On the other hand, when the turbine 2 is heated after being stopped, a fluid inlet valve 3 and a fluid outlet valve 4 are closed, a heating gas inlet valve 5 equipped at the downstream side of the bearing gas inlet valve 1 as will as a heating gas outlet valve 6 are opened and the heating gas is supplied into the turbine 2 through the heating gas inlet valve 5 to heat it. If the bearing gas inlet valve 1 is closed due to the mistaken operation, the supply of the heating gas is stopped simultaneously even if the heating gas inlet valve 5 is opened because the heating gas inlet valve 5 is equipped at the downstream side of the bearing gas inlet valve 1.
