Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit construction and improve the reliability of the three-point temperature detection type defrosting device for a heat pump type air heating device by a method wherein standard temperatures of start and stop of the defrosting operation are compared with their corresponding ones in an electronic circuit.
CONSTITUTION: An evaporation temperature comparing part 4, temperature difference comparing part 6, and condensation temperature comparing part 7 compares respectively between an evaporation temperature 1, outdoor temperature 2, and condensation temperature 3 represented by the respective signals and a standard value 0°C, an evaporation temperature T10 at which the defrosting operation stops, a difference ΔT21 between the evaporation temperature and outdoor temperature, and condensation temperature T30 at which the defrosting operation starts. The outputs from the comparators 6 and 7 are inputted into a logical product processor 8, holding unit 9 and relay 10 so as to start the defrosting operation. At the same time, the standard value of the evaporation temperature comparing part 4 changes to a value corresponding to T10, and the defrosting operation continues until the temperature rises up to this changed standard value. This standard value changing system can eliminate the need of a drive circuit for stopping of the defrosting operation, thereby simplifying the circuit construction and further improving the reliability of the device.
