Abstract

PURPOSE:To smoothly guide running operation of a card, in the above described device equipped with a card guide, by vertically movably constituting the card guide and releasing a deformed part of the card colliding against said guide. CONSTITUTION:A card conveyer is operated in such a manner that a card 10 is held by a press roll 1 and fed by a feed roll 5 simultaneously rotary motion is transmitted to each of said rollers 1, 5 by a feed belt 8 further to convey also the card 10. Then a card guide 4, guiding the card 10, is arranged to the upper of a card conveyance passage. Here the card guide 4 is constituted in such a manner that a supporting shaft 43 is extended through a long and narrow slot 42 of a hanging member 41 to mount a stopper ring 44, preventing fall off, to the end part of said shaft 43, and free movement can be performed to within a range A of the long and narrow slot 42. In this way, when a deformed part of warp or the like in the card 10 collides with the card guide 4, the guide 4 is lifted, and the card 10 can be smoothly guided.
