Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an injection-molding mold which prevents the occurrence of an imperfect molding, such as short shot, burrs, by a method wherein a given polytetrafluoroethylene continuous porous sheet member is placed in a parting line of a mold. CONSTITUTION:A polytetrafluoroethylene continuous porous seal member 4 (an appartant specific gravity; about 1-2, an air permeation resistance; 0.1-2) of a non-fibril structure is placed in a parting line of an injection-molding mold consisting of a female mold 1 and male mold 2. Thus, if a melted resin molding material is injected into a cavity 3 through a runner 6 and a gate 7, air, occupying an space in the cavity 3, and gas produced from the molding material are extruded to the outside of the mold through vent recesses 5, and with this the molding material is injection-molded into the cavity 3 in the excellent condition.
