Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance of picture, by switching a reproduced video signal and with a delayed reproduction video signal according to the switching signal and delaying the reproduced video signal for twice of the shift of recording position of a horizontal synchronizing signal between adjacent video tracks. CONSTITUTION:When a reproduced video signal is given to an input terminal 1, it is delayed with a modulator 2, a delay line 3, an oscillator 4 and a demodulator 5 by twice delay time of the shift of the recording position of a horizontal synchronizing signal between adjacent tracks in the format not satisfying the condition of H arrangement. This signal is given to a video switch 6 to switch the original reproduced video signal and the delayed reproduction detecting signal with a switching signal from a switching detection signal circuit 11. When a vertical synchronizing signal is given to an input terminal 14 of the circuit 11, a head switching pulse signal inverts the polarity in synchronizing with the vertical synchronizing signal and a frequency division circuit 10 is reset at this timing. Thus, since the reproduced video signal and the delayed reproduction video signal are outputted with inversion in the timing of field change, the disturbance of the video signal can be prevented.
