Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out the welding of the titled molded object without generating welding irregularity and pinholes in the welded part thereof, as the welding pretreating agent, by using an aqueous dispersion containing a specific fluorine type copolymer colloidal particle and a silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:On the surface to be welded of a polytetrafluoroethylene (hereinafter referred to PTFE) molded object, a welding pretreating agent comprising an aqueous dispersion containing 10-70wt% tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro (alkylvinyl ether) copolymer colloidal particle (A) and 0.3-5wt% silicone oil (B) is coated and melded at 350-500 deg.C and, after a pretreating agent layer with a thickness of 5-30mu is formed, by using a welding material made of PFA, the PTFE molded object is welded at 350-500 deg.C according to an external heat welding method.
