Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the measured length of the sample of the electrophoresis pattern by calculating the sampling number of the electrophoresis pattern from its start to the end and that of the first change point to the end from the end by a micro-computer. CONSTITUTION:The density variation of the electrophoresis pattern from its start to the end is detected by an optical sensor 12 and they are converted to digital data. All the data memorized by a memory 14 is then corrected as to their base value. Then the detection reverses from the end point P to its starting point O of the electrophoresis pattern and the canging values from zero base are obtained. There is a point Q where the shifting value grows larger from the prescribed standard value continuously. This is the end point of measured length of the test sample. The length of it is obtained from the measurement of the first test sample.
