Abstract
PURPOSE:To unnecessitate an operation for adjusting the heat of a sample and the like and thereby to improve the efficiency of analysis by supplying continuously a sample atomizing device with a carrier fluid to which only an interference depressor not including the sample is added and by injecting the sample intermittently into a sample introducing chamber provided in the middle of a channel of the carrier. CONSTITUTION:A water solution L containing only an interference depressor (e.g. La for preventing the fall of a measured value due to the interference of Al, Si or the like when an alkaline-earth element such as Mg is analyzed) is supplied continuously into a sample introducing chamber X and injected with the ejection of a fuel gas (f) and a fuel gas additive (a) into the main body B of a burner of an atomic absorption analyzing device through a sample supply pipe T. As for a sample, it is supplied intermittently by an injection needle I pierced through a silicon rubber plug G located in the middle of the sample supply pipe T by a microcylinder M and is mixed with the carrier solution L and injected into the burner B. Since an adjusting operation for putting the interference depressor in each sample is unnecessitated and the main body B of the burner is washed constantly by the carrier solution L and the fuels (a) and (f) in this constitution, no period for washing out the previous sample needs to be provided and thus the efficiency of analysis is improved.
