Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform smooth operation, by reducing rotary torque of a throttle valve shaft and decreasing depressing force of an accelerator pedal, that is, by mounting the free end of a return spring of a throttle lever to a stopper hole and forming said stopper hole to a long hole shaped long to a direction of the throttle valve shaft. CONSTITUTION:A stopper hole for the free end of a return spring 6 of a throttle lever 7 is formed to long hole 9 shaped long to the direction of a throttle valve shaft 8, and a ring 10 is fitted to said long hole 9 to stop the free end of the return spring 6. In this way, for a throttle valve at fully opening by an accelerator, when an accelerator pedal is fully depressed, said lever 7 is rotated about 90 deg. counterclockwise, and the ring 10 is most closely placed to the throttle valve shaft 8. In consequence, rotary torque of the throttle valve shaft 8, i.e. tension of a throttle wire 3, is decreased, and the throttle valve can be opened by a less power of pedal depression. Further the ring 10 is moved along the long hole 9, if the lever 7 is rotated, and reset to the former position at full closing, in this way, an equal amount of return torque can be obtained.
