Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the memory capacity of reference data, and also to exactly detect abnormal cutting, by storing a variation of a cutting load in case of normal cutting, in a temporary memory, analyzing this data, and setting a storage condition. CONSTITUTION:A current value signal generated from a main shaft motor 1 is inputted to an instruction and monitoring switching circuit 52 through a servo unit 2 and a gate circuit 51, and in case of the instruction mode, a pair of data of a main shaft motor current value and the time are stored in a temporary memory 53. These data are analyzed by a scanning circuit 54, and the data of the temporary memory 53 are stored in a reference data memory 57 in accordance with a storage condition set to a data patterning circuit 55. Subsequently, in case of the monitoring mode, the main shaft motor current value is compared with the data stored in the memory 57 by a comparing circuit 58, and when a deviation value has exceeded an allowable value, an abnormal cutting displaying circuit 60 is operated. In this way, the memory capacity is reduced, and also it is possible to properly follow a variation of a load.
