Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a reduction in transparency to a liquid containing hydroxyl groups by a method wherein a xylylene group-containing polyamide resin layer constituting the surface layer of a bottle is crystallized to such as extent as not to be blurred white even when wetted with a hydroxyl-containing liquid. CONSTITUTION:A transparent cold parison 1 injection molded from a saturated polyester resin is subjected to insert molding to laminate a transparent xylyl- containing polyamide resin layer 2 on the outside surface thereof. The lamination can be securely carried out after activating the surface of the parison 1 by a flame treatment or the like. The transparent parison 3 thus produced by lamination is placed in a mold for blow molding, at a temperature suitable for stretching. Then, the parison 3 is stretched in the longitudinal direction and is stretched in the transverse direction by blowing in high-pressure air to obtain a transparent biaxially stretched laminate bottle. In this case, the biaxial stretching ratio must be 10 times or higher.
