Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula (R1 and R2 are H, 1W3C alkyl, phenyl, with the proviso that they are not H simultaneously; A1 and A2 are inorganic anion, carboxylic acid, or may be linked with Pt(II) to form a ring).
EXAMPLE: Pt(II)Cl2 (trans-d-2,4-pentanediamine).
USE: An antitumor agent. Reducing hepatic disorder which is a problem in cis- [Pt(NH3)2Cl2]. Having improved antitumor activity, acting effectively by a wide range of medication amount.
PROCESS: A compound shown by the formula K2PtX4 (X is halogen) is reacted with a diamine, and reacted with silver nitrate and silver sulfate. The reaction product is dissolved in water under heating, and reacted with sodium or potassium carboxylate, to give platinum (II) carboxylate complex.
