Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the geographical continuity in the switching mode of regions, by preferentially completing the switching operation in case the positional coordinate information of a fixed base station, i.e., the remote side of a new communication has a difference within a prescribed region compared with the preceding information. CONSTITUTION:The radio signal supplied through an antenna 1 of a travelling object from a fixed base station is demodulated and supplied to a position discriminating signal detecting circuit 3. The circuit 3 delivers the position information of the fixed base station comprising the coordinates like X, Y, u, etc. Thus the position information of a fixed station which is under reception is supplied to a frequency selecting circuit 4, and the frequencies registered to a frequency code table 42 are selected one by one to be delivered through a terminal B. If the coordinate position information of a new fixed base station is supplied to a terminal A within a certain period of time, a position information comparator 43 compares the input information with the contents of a storage circuit 44 of preceding position information. Then a frequency designating circuit 41 is started to select the next code when the difference of each coordinate information exceeds the set value.
