Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Fine powder of fluoroplastics consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene, polthexafluoropropylene, polytrichlorofluoroethylene, or the like and an aliphatic compound such as higher fatty acid, higher fatty acid ester, higher aliphatic amide, and higher aliphatic amine which is lubricative and is superior in affinity to fine powder and is stuck well to the surface of particles to show the surface activity function are used to make up a magnetic paint, and this magnetic paint is applied and dried on a base material to obtain a magnetic recording medium.
