CONSTITUTION:A stopping apparatus is provided with a locking unit 4 comprising a pressure stop valve 9, a pressure gauge 11, a pressure receptacle 12 and a pressure circuit having a first and second poppets 16, 19. When a piston 33 and a piston plunger 6 retreat in a cylinder 5, negative pressure is produced in a piston plunger lateral chamber 31 and a pipeline 29, and the balance of operating fluid pressure is broken in the pressure circuit 13 to open the first poppet 16, so that pressurized fluid in a piston head lateral chamber 32 is sucked and supplied to the piston plunger lateral chamber 31 to temporarily stop the forward movement of the piston plunger 6.
