Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled capsule with a good pulling out property, by coating a molding pin previously with carnauba wax or beeswax, and dipping the coated pin in a solution of an enteric high polymer.
CONSTITUTION: A molding pin is dipped in molten carnauba wax or beeswax and then pulled up. Alternatively, a solution thereof in an organic solvent is applied to the molding pin to coat the pin with the carnauba wax or beeswax. The coated pin is then dipped in a solution of an enteric high polymer, e.g. a cellulosic derivative or polyvinyl alcohol derivative, in an organic solvent or a mixed solvent with water, and the pin is pulled up to dry a viscous film formed around the pin. The pin is then taken out of the formed capsule, and unnecessary part is then cut and removed to give the aimed enteric capsule having the desired dimensions and shape.
