Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable accurate and favorable measurement of temperature by retaining a thermistor with a heat insulating elastic body as exposed in the heat sensitive body thereof so that heat of the temperature sensitive section is kept from escaping. CONSTITUTION:A holder 8 made of a highly elastic and soft sponge such as heat insulating foamed polyurethane is retained on the outer surface of a thermistor 1 with an adhesive. When measuring body temperature, a temperature-sensitive part 2 is put on a measuring part 23a and pushed in the direction 24 where the skin 23b comes very close thereto. The skin pushes up the temperature sensitive body 2 in the direction 26 wrapping it.
