Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to be utilized for a variety of measurements and facilitate the operation, by attaching an optical scale to the inside of a housing and also attaching an indicating section of an operating section to the outside thereof as a continuous body, and then, by conducting indication of a operation by shifting a slider equipped with a measuring surface. CONSTITUTION:An optical scale 10 and a dry cell 23, etc. are installed in a housing 1, and an electronic circuit 17 and an ndicating section, etc. are mounted onto the outsideof the housing as a continuous body. A slider 6, which has measuring surfaces 7 and 8 equipped with light-emitting elements 121 and 122 and also with light-receiving elements 131 and 132, is fit into guide bars 91 and 92 in such a manner as to be able to slide freely. In this mechanism, by shifting of the slider 6, a prescribed pulse signal is transmitted and operation is indicated. While dimensions of U1 in the sketch were unable to be measured by the conventional method, it is possible by using this device to achieve it easily simply by measuring K1 and K2 and subtracting K2 from K1. It is possible, by doing so, to utilize it for various measurements including addition and substration and also centering of a hole, etc. with simplificity and facility.
