Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform smooth operation of a valve, by moving a shaft through a plunger, providing a pair of valves on said shaft, locating said valves at a face- to-face position to a pair of seat parts and coating at least a contacted part of said valves to said seat parts with a synthetic resin material. CONSTITUTION:A proportional control device is constituted by a proportional electromagnetic mechanism part 1, moving a plunger 4 in proportion to an electric conducted current in a coil 2, and air quantity control mechanism part 6, provided on a shaft 12 connected to said plunger 4 and having a pair of valves 10, 11 at a face-to-face position to seat parts 8, 9. In this case, the above described shaft 12 is formed by a metallic bar 18 while the valves 10, 11 are formed by a relatively hard and easily sliding synthetic resin material. Further the outside of the metallic bar 18 is coated by a synthetic resin material equal to that for the valves 10, 11. In this way, sliding motion in a bearing 14 of the shaft 12 can be smoothed, simultaneously close adhesion of the valves 10, 11 to the seat parts 8, 9 can be improved.
